Jürgen Klinsmann is synonymous with the FIFA World Cup. After winning it as a player in 1990, the star from Stuttgart led both Germany and the USA to the competition as head coach.

Klinsmann is part of the Technical Study Group (TSG) that will be observing the new FIFA Club World Cup. In this interview, the former Germany number 9 discusses the benefits of the revamped competition for players who typically might not have the chance to participate in a FIFA World Cup. He also forecasts the evolution of his beloved playing position — striker — and reveals how the role has changed since observing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ as a TSG expert.
