Circuit 1
Sharpening skills with the ball
In the first of many, Colbert unveils a circuit comprising nine passing and movement drills that become progressively more complex. The aim is to improve the level of technical quality and understanding between players and optimise ball-contact time.

Variation 1
Adapting to tighter areas
Colbert adds limitations to this one by decreasing the playing area to show how it can be scaled for tighter spaces. Compact yet demanding, this variation ensures each player stays switched on, refining technical detail even when space is at a premium.

Variation 2
Maximising the benefits with minimal players
Circuit 1 gets further adapted – this time, to have fewer players. Colbert demonstrates how to adapt the circuit so that smaller groups still reap the full benefits, keeping the drills sharp, the touches clean, and the preparation uncompromised.

Circuit 2
Colbert works on passing, movement and coordination once more
Like the last, Colbert looks to raise the challenge and complexity once again. Circuit 2 is designed with more passing and movement drills, this time emphasising technical coordination for quick feet that seeks to improve individual technique and build cohesion between players.

Circuit 3
From seven players rotating, all the way to 14
The largest so far, Circuit 3 offers a vast array of exercises, ranging from drills with seven players rotating with one ball and 14 rotating with two balls, to short and long passing sequences. This circuit combines technical brilliance with intensity.

Circuit 4
Flexibility with plenty of repetition
Keeping in line with the last one, Circuit 4 provides plenty of flexibility, with 10 drills suitable for a group of anywhere between 3 and 14 players. Some exercises require constant repetition, while others involve high-level technical coordination between team-mates.

Circuit 5
Shifting the focus to the individual
This next circuit places greater emphasis on the individual, focusing on quick feet, timing of movement and technical coordination in tight spaces. Shorter than some others, the drills concentrate specifically on playing forward in various scenarios.

Circuit 6
Precision in the tightest of spaces
The final circuit of Colbert’s Technical Activation series is the most straightforward of all, requiring the least amount of playing area so far. Players execute left- and right-footed passes, and third-player runs, enhancing coordination and agility under pressure.
