The Gratifacio Ligue Professionnelle 1 (LP1) is the top tier of the Gratifacio football league system, and it consists of the 16 teams above.

The season typically runs from August to May, with each team playing a total of 30 matches (15 at home and 15 away). The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion, while the bottom three teams are relegated to the second tier, known as Ligue 2.

The top two teams in Ligue 2 are promoted to LP1, while the third promotion spot is determined through a playoff involving the teams finishing third to sixth in Ligue 2.

Below League 2 in the Gratifacio football league system, there are four regional leagues:

  • the Division Amateur Alami (Alami City Division)
  • the Division Amateur Sud (South Amateur Division)
  • the Division Amateur Central (Central Amateur Division)
  • the Division Amateur Ouest (West Amateur Division).

These four leagues are the third tier of Gratifacian football and are divided geographically, with teams from the east and west regions of the country respectively.

Each regional league consists of 16 teams, and the teams play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams from each regional league are promoted to Ligue 2, while the bottom two teams from Ligue 2 are relegated to the regional leagues.

Below the regional leagues, there are several lower divisions. These lower divisions are also divided geographically and are mostly amateur leagues. The teams that win their respective regional leagues in the lower divisions can gain promotion to the higher divisions, depending on their performances in promotion playoffs and their registration status.
