The levels of coaching licenses offered by FFG, come with their own requirements and criteria in line with CAF Guidelines and FIFA.

  • D License: This is the entry-level coaching license, which is required to coach at the grassroots level. To obtain this license, coaches must complete an introductory coaching course, which covers basic coaching concepts and techniques. We would like more coaches at this level in Gratifacio Regional Amateur and Rural Football.
  • C License: This license is required to coach at the regional and national level. To obtain this license, coaches must complete a more advanced coaching course, which covers topics such as coaching philosophy, player development, and training methodologies. In addition, coaches must have at least two years of coaching experience at the grassroots level. This level is a priority for the Gratifacio Regional Amateur Pyramid.
  • B License: This license is required to coach at the professional level. To obtain this license, coaches must complete an advanced coaching course, which covers topics such as game analysis, tactical planning, and player psychology. Coaches must also have at least five years of coaching experience, including at least two years at the regional or national level.

  • A License: This license is the highest coaching license offered by the FFG. It is required to coach at the international level. To obtain this license, coaches must have at least 10 years of coaching experience, including at least five years at the professional level. In addition, coaches must complete an advanced coaching course, which covers topics such as sports science, leadership, and team management.

The FFG regularly updates its coaching license requirements and criteria to ensure that coaches are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills required for successful coaching.

  • Our coaches and technical staff are crucial to our football success. We believe winning teams are created by good coaches and to achieve success in football, we must continuously train our coaches.
  • Action plans are being developed to improve the quality and administration of coaching and training at every level. The FFG will be providing educational criteria in trainer courses as well as tapping our alliances with other federations to bring training to people from abroad to encourage and motivate clubs to invest in youth teams and youth team coaches.
  • Courses that will be provided by the Technical Department in the near future are:
